Part 1 Alpha Tutorial

Check the font options I have circled. You can set the font size to what best fits your image, the stroke to what looks best to you, 1 or 2 the other options should be set as I have them below.

Now to delete the A & the Q, go to edit, undo text.  Now put your A on your image where it needs to be. Notice the ruller marks and where the bottom of the
A sits so you can line all the other letters of the alphabet in the exact same spot. You can use the mover tool to move the a around if you need to but be sure before you do you go back to the pan (arrow) tool and click on it then the mover tool.

When you have the A where you want it save the image as, for example,
"loveducks_GrA.psp.  I always use the description firs then GR for granny then the letter and always save them as tubes in case you need to go back and fix something. We'll convert them to jpgs. later.

Now you have you're A saved, it should still have marching ants around it on the desktop. go to the scissors and click it once to remove the A
If you have a selection still appearing on you image go to edit, undo cut and the edit and undo prepare for then you can cut again.

Now right click anywhere on you're desk top and paste the A there as shown below

You have now created the single letter to go with you're capital BUT we have some more work to do on it so make a subfolder inside
your main alpha folder called "smletters" and save the a all by itself as A.psp

Now if ya'll want to send me your Capital letter I'll take a look at it for you but be sure you tell me the font you're using in case I need to advise you.
